At the AGM we welcomed some new faces to the Bike Ottawa Board of Directors, and had a bit of a shuffle for some of our previous members.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday November 18th for our AGM.
Be sure to have a look at our InfoPack before the meeting.
Join us virtually for our Annual General Meeting!

This year’s speakers include:

Just after the clocks turn back, we’ll be partnering with Safer Roads Ottawa again this year to raise awareness and encourage cyclists to light themselves up while cycling in the early evening and at night:
The Healthy Transportation Coalition is going to make history on July 22, 2018 by installing the first-ever pop-up bike lane in Bells Corners, in partnership with the office of councillor Rick Chiarelli.
This Little Bike goes to Market is back after a year off, showing off kid-carrying and adult mobility aid bikes at Lansdowne Farmer’s Market!
Bike Ottawa traditionally looks after your bicycle at the RBC Bluesfest. Over 70,000 bicycles have been looked after since 2006, and not one got lost or stolen. And all is done by volunteers.
It’s time to ring in spring with our annual Spring.Bike.Ottawa symposium and social! At this year’s celebration, we’ll be talking advocacy and how we can work together to affect change that will make Ottawa a better cycling city.
Decorate your bike for the holiday season and join others for a bright, colourful, wintry ride. If you plan to keep riding right on through the winter, this is a chance to make a statement of it in style, or to get a fun taste of cold weather cycling if you’ve never done it before.
We had a great turn-out and a great line-up of speakers before covering some official business and running elections for the Bike Ottawa Board of Directors: read on for some highlights.
